ZenBud launched an ultrasound-based wellness device into a crowded market dominated by a misleading incumbent and widespread confusion around ultrasound versus electrical stimulation. With low category awareness and high skepticism, early DIY marketing efforts drove acquisition costs too high to scale profitably.
